Registration is now closed

MIT makers and MIT alumni… join with other members of the MIT community: MIT students, faculty, staff, alumni and their families are all invited, for an evening of fun making, movies and food! Fun for makers of all ages!
'Make and Share' is part of the National Week of Making and is brought to you by MIT Project Manus, the Martin Trust Center and the MIT Alumni Association. We will have interesting maker baggies for teams of beginners (makey makey, robot kits, legos) and more advanced makers (arduino, electronics/soldering, etc…) with all sorts of goodies for creating cool stuff.  The event is free, though please register so we can be sure to have enough food and materials.
No previous experience required! Good for all ages! Come and have fun making and sharing with other MIT makers. What we've got lined up for you:

  • 6:00pm – Food arrives – form teams with makers if you like… or work on your own
  • 6:00pm – Share in some delicious food (with veggie options)
  • 6:30pm – The movie of the ultimate MIT maker will start (PG-13) in one corner of Walker, watch and/or make…
  • 6:30pm – Teams get baggies of maker goodies including some cool tech
  • 6:30pm – Have fun and make cool stuff!
  • 8:15pm – Made something cool and want to share? Step up to the mic and share it with others
  • 9:00pm – Done! Celebrate what you’ve accomplished and soak in the awesomeness of new friends
