In a makersystem, local makerspaces network together to offer specialized capabilities to a larger community.
We are working hard to make sure MIT students have access to the tools, spaces and information they need to make, create and innovate.
Mobius connects students, faculty and researchers with nearby resources they can use to make, measure and innovate.

Students in Make Impact Consortium member schools apply their design, innovation, making, and entrepreneurial skills to solve challenging, real-world problems.
Working with public sector, not-for-profit, and other social-good service partners adds meaning and dimension to student academics, and skill-building experience.
And, the robust innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems supported by Make Impact schools contribute to regional economic growth and development.
We are proud to partner with government leaders and nonprofit organizations to introduce them to the makers of tomorrow. Together we'll identify community needs that Make Impact member school students can work to address.
In partnership, the Make Impact Consortium and public sector organizations help inspire, shape, and grow the socially-aware innovators and makers of the future.
